Analog Synthesizer Apron Featuring a Detailed Grey Modular is printed on a black canvas apron — one size, made to order and shipped within the United States.
analog synthesizer apron puts a detailed grey control panel across the front panel, and the printed words like OSCILLATORS, FILTER, and AMP/FX label four distinct sections of the interface. Wearing it signals technical proficiency to fellow studio technicians, and electronic musicians who patch cables daily feel it was made for them.
Looking At The Front Panel
A grey control panel sits centrally on the apron, divided vertically into four sections labeled Oscillators, Mixer, Filter, and Amp/Fx. White lines separate these zones, containing rows of silver knobs and toggle switches marked with printed text such as Waveform, Tune, Fine Tune, Drift, Cutoff, Resonance, Drive, and Env Amt. Four colored patch cables in green, red, blue, and yellow emerge from output jacks at the bottom of the left panels and plug into input jacks on the right, creating a continuous signal path. The colors are strictly grey, white, black, green, red, blue, and yellow, rendered in a realistic art style that mimics the texture of metal hardware. Specific labels like Reverb, Delay, Level, Feedback, and Pre Delay appear in the final section, grounding the image in the language of analog synthesis. This composition captures the complexity of a modular rig without using humor or cartoonish exaggeration.
Who Gets The Joke
Electronic musicians and synthesizer players notice the specific arrangement of CV, Gate, and Trig jacks first. Gifting this analog synthesizer apron to a synth collector or studio tech acknowledges their dedication to hardware sound design. They wear it during concerts, on stage, or while sitting at a desk patching cables and tweaking knobs on an ADSR and lowpass filter. The design respects the technical reality of their hobby rather than treating it as a casual pastime.
Answers Up Front
What is the neck strap length range? The adjustable neck strap measures between 20 and 30 inches, accommodating various torso sizes. This specific range allows the black bib apron to sit at a comfortable height for most adults without requiring permanent alteration. The generous cut ensures the printed panel remains fully visible regardless of body shape or layering.
How does the ink hold up to washing? The print uses durable inks designed to withstand repeated laundering without fading or cracking. Since the design relies on sharp white text against a grey background, maintaining clarity is essential for the technical aesthetic to remain legible after multiple wash cycles. The color fidelity of the four patch cables also resists bleeding, keeping the signal path visualization intact.
Why is this design specific to modular synth users? Only someone who builds or uses modular systems recognizes the specific connectivity shown by the four patch cables linking outputs to inputs. The inclusion of niche terms like Mod, Mix, and Amp/Fx distinguishes this from generic music apparel. It references the actual physical workflow of routing audio signals through oscillators, filters, and effects units, making it meaningful only to those who understand the hardware.

Care
Machine wash cold, inside out, with like colours. Tumble dry low or hang to dry. Do not iron directly over the print — press from the back if you need to. No bleach, no dry cleaning.
The ink is water-based and cures into the fabric, so it will soften with the canvas rather than peel off it.
