Grad Future and Apron Featuring a Cartoon Girl is printed on a black canvas apron — one size, made to order and shipped within the United States.
grad future and apron displays the words FUTURE, HBCU, GRAD across the front panel. A cartoon girl with an afro and cap sits between the text lines. The design celebrates Historically Black Colleges and Universities as a path to academic success. Wearing it signals pride in educational goals and cultural heritage. Students and families supporting Black higher education will feel this was made for them.
What Is Printed On It
The artwork features a centered cartoon girl with brown skin and curly hair wearing a black graduation cap with a yellow tassel. White text reading FUTURE appears above her head while HBCU GRAD sits below in green, orange, yellow, red, and white block letters. Small geometric shapes in matching colors scatter around the figure. This layout highlights the connection between Black students and their academic achievements without relying on jokes or humor.
Who Reaches For This One
This grad future and apron reaches home cooks who want to celebrate their educational journey while preparing meals. It serves as a meaningful gift for Juneteenth or Black History Month that honors HBCU culture. The two front pockets hold utensils during busy cooking sessions, blending domestic life with academic identity.
Questions Before You Order
What are the pocket dimensions? Each of the two front pockets measures 8 by 7 inches and is split in the middle to allow access from either side. This specific sizing provides ample storage for towels or phones without adding bulk to the stiff cotton canvas fabric.
How does the ink hold up to washing? The printed design uses durable inks that resist fading through repeated laundering cycles. The 10 oz cotton canvas softens after two to three washes while maintaining the integrity of the colorful lettering and character illustration.
Why is this specific design unique? Unlike generic graduation apparel, this piece centers a cartoon girl with an afro and HBCU-specific typography. The combination of brown, black, white, yellow, and red elements creates a distinct visual identity tied to Historically Black College culture rather than standard academic regalia.
Every apron is printed after you order it. Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays — please allow 1-3 business days for order processing. After processing, shipping typically takes 3-7 business days inside the United States, so the total delivery time from order placement is 4-10 business days.
US orders under US$65.00 pay a flat US$4.95 shipping; orders of US$65.00 or more ship free. Bearhap ships within the United States only — we do not ship to international addresses.
You may request a return or exchange within 30 days of the purchase date, for any reason. The apron must be unopened, unused and in its original packaging, with proof of purchase. We refund the item price in full to the original payment method — the original US$4.95 shipping fee is not refundable — and Bearhap covers all return shipping costs: email contact@bearhap.com for a free return label.
Care
Machine wash cold, inside out, with like colours. Tumble dry low or hang to dry. Do not iron directly over the print — press from the back if you need to. No bleach, no dry cleaning.
The ink is water-based and cures into the fabric, so it will soften with the canvas rather than peel off it.
