Scrap Carpentry Apron Featuring There Is No Scrap Wood is printed on a black canvas apron — one size, made to order and shipped within the United States.
scrap carpentry apron displays the phrase THERE IS NO SCRAP WOOD JUST PIECES NOT YET USED across the front. The design stacks white text vertically while orange wood planks form the word WOOD in the center. This wholesome statement redefines waste as potential, celebrating the careful eye of a maker who sees future projects in leftover lumber. It is made for the woodworker who refuses to throw anything away.
The Print Up Close
White text reading THERE IS NO appears at the top of the panel, followed by the word SCRAP in bold block letters. Orange wood planks are scattered in the center to physically build the letters of WOOD, creating a three-dimensional effect within the two-dimensional print. Thin white lines radiate outward from the central plank cluster to add visual energy to the composition. Below the graphic, the words JUST PIECES and NOT YET USED complete the vertical stack in white. This typography-only art style relies entirely on the arrangement of these specific elements to deliver its message without background clutter.
Made For This Crowd
Wood carvers and furniture makers notice the specific construction of the word WOOD using actual plank shapes first. A scrap carpentry apron makes an ideal birthday or Christmas gift for anyone who identifies as a wood carving lover or craftsperson. Everyday shop wear becomes a declaration of philosophy when the maker wears this design while sorting through their pile of raw materials.
Before You Add To Cart
Does the waist tie fit different body sizes? Yes, the 42-inch waist ties on each side provide ample length to tie securely in front. This measurement accommodates various torso widths and ensures the apron stays fastened comfortably during active use without being too tight or restricting movement.
Will the ink stay sharp after washing? The printed design maintains its clarity through standard laundering because the white and orange graphics are integrated into the fabric surface. The vertical stacking and distinct plank shapes prevent blurring, keeping the readable text and geometric wood forms crisp even after repeated cycles.
How does the design use wood planks instead of standard font? The word WOOD is constructed entirely from illustrated orange timber segments rather than standard type characters. This unique typographic choice visually reinforces the written message that wood consists only of usable pieces waiting to be shaped into something new.

Care
Machine wash cold, inside out, with like colours. Tumble dry low or hang to dry. Do not iron directly over the print — press from the back if you need to. No bleach, no dry cleaning.
The ink is water-based and cures into the fabric, so it will soften with the canvas rather than peel off it.
